Scholarship Stipend
Government ITI Talcher provides financial assistance to trainers and trainees belonging to SC, ST, Women, OBC, and PWD categories. Both day‑scholars and hostellers receive aid at government‑approved rates. In addition, merit scholarships are awarded for each trade/unit, financial assistance is extended to wards of building workers, and stipends are provided to post‑trainees engaged in apprenticeship programs.

The Sudakshya Scheme is a flagship initiative aimed at empowering girls and youth through technical and vocational training. Its primary goal is to increase girls’ enrollment in Government ITIs to 30% by 2020. The scheme applies to all girl trainees enrolled in Government ITIs from 2017 to 2022–23, ensuring equal opportunities and support for women in skill development.
